July 2024 saw the delivery of eight machines to burn centres across the UK

Over the past six months, Dan’s Fund For Burns has worked hard with LPG UK to donate eight machines to major burn centres across the UK and bring everyone together for training in Birmingham.  It was important that the NHS Trusts were on board to accept the ongoing maintenance and usage of these machines as well as the staff training and usage of these machines within their therapist clinics.

LPG machines provide an intense form of mechanical messaging which lifts and stretches the skin to help eliminate some of the pain and itchiness related to tight banding of scars.

It was our desire to give access to all burn survivors across the UK this chance to receive treatment through the NHS. With these eight machines, a donation of nearly £300,000, we have ensured that every burn centre (with the exception of Glasgow) have one of these machines.
