Burn Survivor Scar Therapy Massage Day

Dan’s Fund For Burns and Restore Therapy hosted a Scar Therapy Massage day for burn survivors on Saturday 6 September 2025 at the London School of Osteopathy, SE1 3BE.

Burn survivors were able to book in for a free 90 minute scar massage with certified therapists using Restore Therapy’s techniques to soften and release tightness in scars.   Everyone who signed up to this, had nothing but good things to say about it, some even managed to get a second one with the therapists working on a different area of their scarring.  All feedback was positive.

Katie Holloway from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, was also on hand to offer skin camouflage consultations for those who wanted to see how skin camouflage could improve the appearance of their burn scars.

Polly and Jennifer from Dan’s Fund and Elaine from Join Operations were on hand to meet, greet and chat with the burn survivors before and after their massages.  There was lots of baked goods with some tea and coffee for all to enjoy.

It was the first time Dan’s Fund For Burns hosted a scar massage day and given the success of this one, we may be looking to do another one!  Follow us on social media and check our website for any future dates.
