On Thursday 9th Jan 2025, some OTs, Nurses and Prostheists specialists from Burn Services in Preston, Birmingham, Chelmsford and Bristol trained up in Skin Camouflage techniques at The Finishing Touches Group clinic in Haywards Heath. They have also been given a starter kit to kick start their service or replace out of date items. The course  was an online and in person course designed in conjunction with Dan’s Fund For Burns and NHS professionals. Thanks so much to our models of the day Sarah and Sue. Thanks for Dawn at The Finishing Touches group for taking on the mantle of facilitating this course and to Gemma, Marcella, Emma and Mel for the execution. This is giant step forward in improving this important service to burn survivors across the UK and we will be launching another course late June for other Adult Burns NHS staff.
