We were so lucky to have 18 runners run on behalf of Dan’s Fund For Burns in the rescheduled Royal Parks Half Marathon this October. The team raised a phenomenal £26,000 and we were delighted that Karima Harris, a lawyer from Taylor Wessing, won the entire Ladies Competition in a personal best of 1hr 25 minutes! Congratulations to her and all the other runners who not only completed the course but ran it in very respectable times!
The RPHM is one of the most glorious half marathons as it winds its way through central London. Each year it takes in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Pall Mall on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. This year was particularly special as the run passed by the Bali Memorial by Clive Steps on Horse Guards Road. We were lucky to have some supporters there to wave our runners on!
