Woking Golf Club Charity Day – Friday 26 June 2026

It was a scorcher of a day at the Dan’s Fund For Burns biennial Woking Golf Club Day on Friday 26 June 2026.  Thanks to the club for their hospitality.

Golf was followed by a lovely carvery meal, talk from Polly and an auction.  Thanks to all who donated prizes for our raffle and auction and to all who came, played and supported with their generous purchases.  We raised almost £10,000 to help us continue our work supporting adult burn survivors.

Congratulations to our winners, the WCA team with a massive score of 130.  Second place went to the Syndicate 2525 and Oceanus took third place.

Thanks to all our volunteers on the day who ensure the event runs smoothly, burn survivor and one of our Trustees, Jen and her friend Jules, Polly’s sister and her husband, Lucy and Al, Polly’s husband, Paul, her mum Rosemary, Celia, Penny, Chris, Frank and Margaret.  Thanks also for all the help and rehydration from Ryan, Simon and his team at Woking GC.

We couldn’t do these events without our volunteers and supporters so THANK YOU everyone!
