To access this service, adult burn survivors who are struggling at any stage of their recovery can be referred to Dan’s Fund For Burns by the burn services or get in touch directly.  You can find out more about the use and impact of the befriending service by clicking this Centre of Appearance Research Independent Evaluation Report on DFFB’s Befriending Service

Helping individuals

We help adult burn survivors with everything from grants to equipment, emergency funding, emotional support and more. If you need our support, contact us to tell us about your burns, your situation and what you require.

Helping hospitals

We also help burns survivors in a more systemic way, contributing to the important work of hospitals and the NHS. Our generous supporters play a key role in providing equipment for burns units, training, funding for research programmes and more.

We offer a Research Funding Programme for grants up to £2,000/annum. To be as fair as possible, requests should be submitted for consideration by the DFFB Trustees, to info@dansfundforburns.org by April 1st or September 1st each year.

We also offer an annual Travel Fellowship for burns professionals. Please contact us for further details.
